Turtle Events

To date, over 6,000 youth have participated in our outdoor nature-based summer programs, 12,000+ monofilament recycling containers have been assembled and distributed, thousands of students have performed water testing throughout the state, and over 1,000 storm drains have been stenciled.

Making A Difference LAST

75 volunteers helped Love A Sea Turtle clear debris, clean up River Park North from the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, assemble monofilament recycling containers, and stencil 47 storm drains on Make A Difference Day. Thank you Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement, Eco-Pirates, Boys & Girls Clubs, and our Turtle Team!

Getting Youth Outdoors!

Our summer camp program brought nearly 2,000 youth to River Park North for outdoor STEM & nature focused activities. For most, this is their single longest day spent outside! With over 40 students volunteering as camp counselors, they engaged youth in kayaking, fishing, trail bike riding, nutrition scavenger hikes, team building, conservation, and water science.
