Sea turtles are a threatened and endangered species and we need to help them last. Our actions on land create reactions in the ocean - good and bad. Wherever you live, take care of our planet. The future of all marine life depends on us!
A Message From Casey, Founder of Love A Sea Turtle
What began as a third grade school field trip in 2005 to the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center has evolved into a passion and fun journey of discovery. Love A Sea Turtle is dedicated to marine and ocean conservation awareness by engaging students in leadership development and environmental stewardship, inspiring others to get involved in year-round service projects and activities, and providing nature-based summer programs for under-served youth.

Trail Run: Annual fundraising event featuring a 5k trail run. Join us March 26, 2016 for our first BoThrow Cornhole Tournament fundraiser!
Upstream Downstream Connection: We stress the need and importance to conserve water and protect our waterways. Outdoor summer camps, River Guardians project, and monofilament recycling are components of our Upstream Downstream Connection.
Summer Camp Programs: Founded on an educational format to trace the path of fresh water from our community to the coast.
River Guardians: Our initial 100 mile kayak journey to raise awareness of our river systems, conservation, and to involve others in nature and the outdoors led to implementing River Guardians, a regional stream monitoring and environmental awareness program with middle and high school students on 3 river systems.
Stow It-Don't Throw It Project: Love A Sea Turtle is a regional coordinator for this marine debris prevention initiative.
