World Water Day

We celebrated World Water Day with 100 middle school students testing water and the ribbon cutting for our new Water Discovery STEAM Lab at River Park North!

Water Monitoring

100 students from 2 middle schools participated in water testing at River Park North and explored our new Water Discovery Lab with Xylem volunteers and EarthEcho International.

Global Youth Service Day 2018

Love A Sea Turtle will serve as a 2018 Global Youth Service Day Lead Agency, mobilizing young people to lead volunteer service projects that help meet community needs on April 20-22, 2018.

Turtle Events

The Turtle Team has been busy from summer camps and leadership development programs to creating and expanding their own environmental focused initiatives. Recent events have included World Water Monitoring Day, Make A Difference Day and Family Volunteer Day. To date, over 6,000 youth have participated in our outdoor nature-based summer programs, 12,000+ monofilament recycling containers have been assembled and distributed, thousands of students have performed water testing throughout the state, and over 1,000 storm drains have been stenciled.
