October is a busy month for Love A Sea Turtle as we’re helping out and organizing multiple events and activities. October 6 was a food drive. From local farmers and my cross country team, 400 lbs. of local meat and produce plus 200 canned food items were collected. A river clean up is scheduled for Oct. 20 with many of the summer camp counselors participating. Collaborating with a local high school, we’ve got a big day planned for Oct. 27 – National Make A Difference Day.
