Love A Sea Turtle hosted a Wilderness Survival Weekend to prepare the Turtle Team for our upcoming River Quest 100 mile kayak journey this summer. Several members from Building Hope Community Life Center were invited to participate with us. We learned basic skills for shelter, water, fire and food and to live in harmony with the natural world.

Saturday is Make A Difference Day. The Turtle Team will lead a 7 mile river clean up with 20+ youth from Building Hope Community Life Center. With a recent grant, we have purchased 20 trail bikes from their Recycle Bike Shop for The Outdoor Experience, our initiative to get people outdoors, enjoy nature and create awareness about the environment.
