Our Neuse River Guardians Environmental Symposium is a Global Youth Service Day, Disney Friends for Change, Earth Day, and National Environmental Education Week celebration! Special thanks to our symposium presenters, partners and sponsors!

Becca has volunteered with Love A Sea Turtle since the very first camp in 2011 – this has fueled her interest in pursuing a biology degree! She is also our lead instructor for a pilot program we’ve started with youth at the Police Athletic League. River Guardian PALs are testing water from the Tar River, using scientific equipment, and gaining knowledge and understanding about the importance of our river systems.

Love A Sea Turtle will be holding the Neuse River Guardians Environmental Symposium on April 20, 2015 as part of Global Youth Service Day!

National Week of the Ocean is March 29-April 4. We’ll kick it off on March 28th with Love A Sea Turtle’s 6th annual 5k Trail Run & Nature Walk!
