Summer 2016
Our outdoor summer programs begin soon! We’re planning nature-based and water-focused environmental programs and activities for approximately 2,000 youth.
M.E.N. and W.O.M.E.N.
Full day of fun with middle school groups, M.E.N. and W.O.M.E.N. – their focus is on STEM and community outreach and we’re happy to provide programs and opportunities to engage these students. We worked together on community service projects on Earth Day. Friday was kayaking, touring a water reclamation facility, water testing, snorkeling and Try SCUBA.
Camp Days
52 campers spent the day kayaking, biking, fishing, juicing, learning about “Water We Eating” and participating in water science.
River Quest to Summer Camps
We’ll take 1 day of rest from our 100 mile kayak journey and then begin a summer of outdoor environmental camps to emphasize our upstream downstream connection.
Our River Quest Logo!
Here it is…who wants one? Original artwork or a print – portion of proceeds go to Love A Sea Turtle! Thank You Miss H art by Heather Ritts! This sea turtle is a representation of our upstream downstream connection – our actions on land create reactions in the ocean…good and bad.
