176 volunteers completed 20 beautification projects at River Park North on MLK Day of Service along with sharing a Monday meal together.

We’ll be working alongside camp participants from the Boys & Girls Clubs to help clear the trails for the upcoming Love A Sea Turtle 10k/5k race.

Throughout the summer, Love A Sea Turtle made donations to Hammocks Beach State Park, Ecological Marine Adventures and Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center in support of their free educational programs and facilities. Funds were raised from bake sales, t-shirt proceeds, donations and Love A Sea Turtle Trail Run & Nature Walk.

Love A Sea Turtle, A Time For Science and the Pamlico Tar River Foundation have collaborated in making presentations to our 5 local Boys & Girls Clubs to talk about our summer camp program - the Upstream Downstream Connection, water conservation and recycling.
