Camp Week
The first week of The Upstream Downstream Connection was an advanced level camp for returning Boys & Girls Club youth. The first 3 days were spent on water and STEM focused activities. Day 4 was for scuba diving and kayaking and the last day featured a marine science adventure at the coast. It was a great week!
Sea Turtle Release
Sea Turtle releases are amazing. I watched 14 turtles return to the ocean yesterday at Topsail Island. These sea turtles were rehabilitated at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital. Photos are coming soon – check out the facebook page.
